MicroMulti TEE probe
The MicroMulti TEE probe is developped in order to use the probe in a transnasal way for long time monitoring in adult patients, but can also be used for neonatal childeren by inserting the probe via the mouth.
The probe has a bandwith round 50% with a centre frequency of 6MHz because of this the probe can be used on adult patient as well as for neonates.
Because of the very small tip size the probe can be inserted via the nose by adult patient. Because of this approach the probe can be used for long time monitoring and guiding intervantions (i.e. percutaneous hartvalve transplantation) on awake patient
Key features:
- Small tip size
- 6MHz centre frequency with approximately 50% bandwidth
- 5.2mm thick gastroscope
The probe was succesfully introduced on the ASE meeting june 2009 in Washington
